Kansas Department of Agriculture’s (KDA) food safety and lodging program conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 8/18/2020. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations the McDonald’s Restaurant- South was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Kansas food safety regulations. One violation was cited.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • In a RIC underneath the mocha machine, there were two bags of milk that is hooked to the dispenser of the mocha machine that were at 61F. The ambient temp of the RIC was at 58F per min/max and the provided temp gauge of the RIC. Milk was placed into the RIC from the WIC at approximately 11 am to 12 pm but PIC was unsure of the specific time. Temp was taken at 3:05 pm. COS: Discarded. Discontinued use of equipment until cooler can be repaired.
