Kansas Department of Agriculture’s food safety and lodging program conducted an unannounced retail food inspection on 1/10/2021. As a result of that inspection, and due to the severity of the specific violations Sharky’s Pub & Grub was cited as being, “Out of Compliance” with Kansas food safety regulations. During this inspection a total of 1 violation.

The inspector made the following comments in support of the violations found during the inspection:

  • Repeat violation – fresh rodent droppings: approximately 10 on the floor at the bar, just east of the small dishwasher. As per manager, the facility has a hired pest control service that sets out traps and rodent bait stations. He also stated that the owner sets out glue boards. Pest control methods observed were sticky traps, rodent bait stations, and mechanical traps. no invoice was available for review.
